Mark Zarins (33), of Foxhunt Drive, Oadby, was given a suspended 18-month prison sentence for a number of thefts from shops and for using threatening behaviour.
He pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol worth £9.95 from a city Co-op store on April 17. He admitted stealing alcohol worth £13.50 from the same Co-op on April 27, and pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol of an unknown value on April 23, May 2 and May 8.
Zarins also admitted causing racially aggravated harassment in Leicester on June 6.
He pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour in Leicester on June 6 and admitted causing £50 worth of damage to a window in Leicester on the same date.
Zarins pleaded guilty to committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge issued by Leicester Magistrates' Court on May 13.
He also admitted sending an offensive message via public communications network on May 28 in Leicester Road, Oadby.
His jail sentence was suspended for a year. He was told to pay fines totalling £400, compensation of £223, costs of £170 and a victim surcharge of £80.
Daniel Carney (29), of Stuart Road, Market Harborough, was given a 16-week curfew with an electronic tag after stealing a £200 bike.
He pleaded guilty to committing the offence in Leicester on May 30.
He admitted failing to surrender to custody at Leicester Magistrates' Court on July 11.
He pleaded guilty to committing an offence while subject to a community order.
The order was put in place after he stole lead to an unknown value from Edwards Buildbase in Scotland Lane, Market Harborough, on March 26.
He also stole two cans of beer from the service station in Coventry Road, Market Harborough, on March 14.
Carney also stole lead to an unknown value from the veterinary surgery in Northampton Road, Market Harborough, on March 26.
He had also failed to surrender to custody at Leicester Magistrates' Court on May 23.
