A fast-growing recruitment firm has expanded after opening its eighth UK branch and announcing plans for a ninth.
Encore Personnel, based in Millstone Lane, Leicester, today launched an office in Leeds.
The company, which is in the middle of a five-year growth drive, is set to open another within the next three months.
Encore, which plans to open other branches in the next 12 months, is on course to increase turnover by a third this year to £35 million.
Managing director Greg Latham said: "We're really excited to be expanding.
"The Leeds office will be one of many additional openings in the next few months, as we gear up to deliver an ambitious growth plan from our five-year strategy.
"Revenue growth in 2013 has been ahead of expectation and gives us the confidence to accelerate plans."
Earlier this year, Encore, which supplies logistics, manufacturing and engineering personnel for temporary and permanent vacancies, was ranked the fourth fastest growing multi-sector recruitment firm in this year's Fast 50 – a league table drawn up by trade publication Recruiter.
Last year, the company was ranked 35th in the table, which lists the fastest-growing private recruitment businesses in the UK.
The Leeds branch, which will employ four people, will supply blue-collar staff to factories and warehouses across the region.
The group places more than 2,000 temporary staff into clients' businesses each week.
Human resources manager Cindy Gunn said: "We will definitely open at least one more office this year."
She said the group was looking to increase its workforce from 124 to 150 by the end of 2013. Encore employs about 45 people in Leicester, where it is looking to fill five vacancies.
Set up by directors Greg Latham, Chris Hockey and Ian Briers in 2002, Encore also has branches in Telford, Coventry, Northampton and Nottingham. Reported by This is 5 hours ago.
