Cases dealt with at Leicester Magistrates' Court include:
Mark Brown (48), of Bridgemere Close, off Lutterworth Road, Leicester, admitted two charges of failing to declare he was working while claiming Jobseekers' allowance on August 3 and income support between April 2007 and July 2012. He was made the subject of a community order and ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months.
He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a victim surcharge of £60.
Terence Farmer (60), of Woodland Road, off Uppingham Road, Leicester, admitted stealing three SIM cards from the NHS between December and August.
A community order was made and he was told to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He was ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge.
Martin Faulkner (27), of Hollins Road, Braunstone, Leicester, admitted possessing cannabis, a class B controlled drug, on August 12 in Hockley Farm Road, Braunstone, and 168gms of the drug at Hollins Road on May 31.
He was fined £110 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
