This is Leicestershire -- Leicester Tigers flanker Steve Mafi has returned home to Australia on compassionate grounds. The 23-year-old Tongan, who grew up in Sydney, has flown Down Under after complications surrounding the birth of his child. Director of rugby Richard Cockerill said: "He has gone home because his wife has had a baby and there are some complications there. "He is back in Australia. We hope all is well with him and that we get him back for the London Irish game, but we will have to wait and see. "He has some concerns with his family and he needs time to deal with those issues. We will give him that time and if that means he misses some rugby, he misses some rugby. "Some things are more important."
