Robert Brooks (31), of Tewkesbury Street, Black Friars, Leicester, pleaded guilty to burgling Smile Centre dentists, in Narborough Road, Leicester, between December 25 and 26, stealing gold teeth and cash of a value unknown. He also admitted "going equipped for theft" while subject to a suspended sentence order issue on August 29 last year. He was given a four-week prison sentence, suspended for 14 months, and ordered to continue a drug rehabilitation treatment programme.
Darren Dawes (46), of Warren Street, Black Friars, Leicester, pleaded guilty to stealing diesel worth £60 from MAPS Waste, Leicester, between July 27 and September 9 and £60 of fuel from J Coates Ltd, of Leicester, between the same dates.
He also admitted to refusing to provide a sample for a class A drugs test while detained by police in on September 18 and to failing to surrender to custody at Leicester Magistrates' Court on November 1. He was given a community order to have treatment for drug dependency, involving six months as a patient and a further six under supervision.
Alonzo Escobar (27), of Norman House, Ashleigh Road, off Narborough Road, Leicester, admitted committing criminal damage to a door in Bardolph Street East, Belgrave, Leicester, on New Year's Day. He was handed a one-year conditional discharge and told to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.
Michael Augustus Kavanagh (41), of London Road, Leicester, pleaded guilty to stealing four televisions worth £792 from Tesco, in Maidenwell Avenue, Hamilton, Leicester, on December 29. He was given a community order involving a six-month alcohol treatment programme and 12 months of supervision by the probation service.
Stephen Webb (28), of Coventry Road, Sharnford, pleaded guilty to using a passenger vehicle in Sapcote Road, Burbage, on July 8 last year, when the grooves of the tread pattern of a tyre were not of a depth of at least 1.6mm.
