![Andy Vallis' World of Sport: Bath tank driver set for England Saxons debut]()
This is Somerset -- RUGBY UNION: Semesa Rokoduguni will beat his knee injury in time to make his England Saxons debut against Scotland A on Friday night. Bath's Fiji-born British Army tank driver could not recover from knee trouble to face Ireland Wolfhounds at Kingsholm last weekend. The 26-year-old Lance Corporal in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards is expected to train tomorrow to confirm his fitness. Saxons head coach Jon Callard has selected Rokoduguni on the right wing for the Glasgow trip, with club-mate Kyle Eastmond starting at inside centre. Gloucester scrum-half Dan Robson makes his first Saxons start, alongside club colleague Freddie Burns at fly-half. Gloucester lock Elliott Stooke makes his first Saxons start after his debut off the bench in last week's 14-8 Wolfhounds defeat. Cherry and Whites prop Yann Thomas and Sale flanker Tom Brady will travel to Scotland as squad cover. F1: Jenson Button believes Eric Boullier's "fresh ideas" will further revitalise McLaren in their season of need. Just five days after resigning as team principal at Lotus, Boullier has been appointed to the newly-created role of racing director at McLaren. "He does add to the team," said Button, at the end of a productive second day in McLaren's new car, the MP4-29, after failing to turn a wheel in anger on the opening day of pre-season testing at Jerez on Tuesday. "The team will never be changed by one individual, but he does add something. It's good to have fresh ideas. When the management structure is complete – and hand on heart I don't know who will be in the roles but I have an idea of the structure – then we will be in good shape." COMMONWEALTH GAMES: The Queen's Baton Relay to herald this summer's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow will visit England for two weeks from May 31, it has been announced. The final stage of the 'international' leg of the relay will see the baton travel south from Manchester on May 31 to London and then back up north via Newcastle to its final event at Alnwick Castle, in Northumberland on June 13. The baton will also visit: Sheffield (June 1), Birmingham (June 2), Plymouth and Bristol (June 3), Southampton (June 4), Kent, starting in Tonbridge (June 5), Oxford (June 6), London (June 7 and 8) Suffolk (June 9), Leicester (June 10), Hull (June 11), Leeds (June 12), and then Newcastle/Gateshead (June 13). FOOTBALL: Yohan Cabaye has set his sights on silverware after signing for Paris St Germain. The France midfielder has penned a three-and-a-half-year contract at the Parc des Princes, returning to his homeland from Premier League side Newcastle. FOOTBALL: Professional football in England will remain on grass pitches only after Football Conference clubs voted against allowing artificial surfaces. CRICKET: England suffered a 13-run defeat in their Twenty20 series opener in Hobart. An under-strength Australia blasted 213 for four on the back of a century opening stand between Cameron White (75) and Aaron Finch (52) to set England a record Twenty20 chase. England made a sluggish start in pursuit and only Ravi Bopara's 65 from 27 balls, including seven sixes, late on narrowed the margin of defeat.
