* Leicester City* defender Paul Konchesky says he is revelling in probably the best time of his career.
The former England international has recently signed a new one-year contract extension to remain at the King Power Stadium.
Konchesky said he is also looking forward to possibly returning to the Premier League with City.
City are on a nine-game winning streak in the Championship and are 10 points clear at the top of the table ahead of tomorrow's visit of Watford, and Konchesky admits he has not experienced a spell like it in his 16-year career.
"I have never known a run like this," he said. "To win nine games on the spin is incredibly difficult, especially in this league. I just love being a part of this and I am very pleased to get it (his contract) sorted.
"It was getting on towards the end of the season and not knowing was probably the worst thing, but now it is all done and dusted I can just get on with the football and, hopefully, we can get promoted.
"I have enjoyed myself since I have been here. It is my third season now and I feel part of the furniture. There are probably only a couple of players who have been here longer than me now, such as Lloyd Dyer, Andy King and Conrad Logan. There are a couple of lads who came in with me as well.
"It is everything about the club I love. It is a family club and it is on the up and I want to be part of that and, hopefully, get back to the Premier League with Leicester City.
"This is one of the best times of my career. I am enjoying myself and you can see everyone else is enjoying it as well. It is good to be a part of it."
Konchesky has been praised by Nigel Pearson for his professionalism and the City boss said it is obvious from his performances that the left-back is happy.
"I don't think I have seen Paul enjoy his football as much as he is currently," said Pearson. "That in itself is important, to enjoy doing your job."
Konchesky is part of a City squad that has no new injury concerns ahead of tomorrow's match against Watford at the King Power Stadium.
The only three players still missing will be long term absentees Sean St Ledger, Liam Moore and Tom Hopper.
Chris Wood, Riyad Mahrez and Jeff Schlupp all saw midweek action for the under-21s.
