Workmen have fixed the fully restored and upgraded statue of Richard III at its new home outside Leicester Cathedral. Clasping a new forged sword, the gleaming bronze monument now stands opposite the Richard III visitor centre, which opens its doors to the masses next month. The statue was cut free of its former plinth at Castle Gardens about a month ago.
