A television drama based on the hunt for double child killer Colin Pitchfork is to begin filming later this year. The ITV film, called Code of a Killer, will tell how Pitchfork was the first killer to be caught by the DNA fingerprinting technique pioneered by the University of Leicester's Professor Alec Jeffreys.
