Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault at a music festival in Leicester Forest East.
The incident happened at around 9.30pm on June 28 at Leicester Forest East Rugby Football Club.
The 17-year-old victim was approached by a group of between eight and 10 youths who assaulted him, causing him swelling and bruising around his right eye.
Special Police Constable 5006 James Day said: “There were a large number of people at this event and we believe someone will have seen something which could help with our investigation.
“If you were there and you think you could have information which will assist our investigation please get in touch. It may seem trivial to you, but it could be of importance.”
