This is Leicestershire -- Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after firefighters evacuated three houses in Leicester yesterday. Five fire crews were called out at 5pm after a hairdryer was left on and started a blaze in the roof space of a two-storey house in Danvers Street, off Narborough Road. The neighbouring houese were evacuated at 5pm but the residents were allowed back into their homes at 6.45pm. The blaze caused 40 percent damage to the first floor of the house where the fire started.
