Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Queniborough

Leicestershire Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Queniborough.

The incident happened on Friday August 29 somewhere between 10pm and 11:45pm in Barkby Road. A house was broken into through a rear door and following an untidy search of the property a white Cayenne Porsche was stolen from the driveway.

The vehicle was later recovered in a street near to Blackbird Road in Leicester.

Other items were also stolen during the incident including a Welsh Celtic gold ring, Ralph Lauren sunglasses and football boots.

Detective Constable 0837 David Ball said: “This is a serious incident where the victim has returned home to find that their property had been broken in to and their vehicle taken.

“I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who may have been offered any of the other items in suspicious circumstances.”
