This is Dorset -- Lee Camp believes the assistant referee made a 'brave decision' to award Leicester City a controversial winning goal against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday. The SkyBet Championship league leaders took all three points at The Goldsands Stadium when Kevin Phillips turned home Anthony Knockaert's cross with eight minutes remaining. Camp, who was booked for dissent after the goal was awarded, believes the referee's assistant didn't have a clear sight as to whether the ball had crossed the line - as Elliott Ward slid to clear the ball off the line. "It was a brave decision by the linesman" he explained. "I wasn't convinced the ball was over the line. "Having looked back at the video, it's unclear to me to see through the post and Elliott sliding in. He must have been sure and Kevin Phillips seemed to think it was in. "I think some of the ball was over the line but my first reaction was that Elliott got there are was able to clear. But we can make excuses – he has a free header at the back post from a nothing cross really which is disappointing from our point of view." Lewis Grabban went close for the Cherries before Phillip's only goal – while Camp was called into action throughout the 90 minutes – pulled off a string of impressive saves. The Cherries sit in 14th place in the Championship – while the Foxes extended their lead to ten points over Queens Park Rangers.
